Professional Development Program on “Holistic Assessment and 360 Degree Report Card” Date: 16th August 2026 Time: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm - Introduction and Objectives of the program: Dr Manisha Khanna 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm – Holistic Development and Competency -Based Assessment Expert: Dr Ganga Maheto, Assistant Professor, RIE, NCERT, Bhopal. 5:45 pm to 7:00pm – 360 Degree Feedback and Personalized Growth Expert: Dr. Anusha Ramnathan, Assistant Prof., Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. PDP on Holistic Assessment and 365° Report Card Holistic Development & Competency-Based Assessment focuses on assessing the learner beyond academic achievement, including competencies, values, life skills, creativity, well-being, and individual progress. 360° Feedback & Personalised Growth emphasises on bringing together feedback from teachers, parents, peers, and students themselves to create a comprehensive picture of development and translate the findings into personalised PDP goals and actions. Objectives • To promote the holistic development of students by assessing academic, social-emotional, physical, creative, and life skills. • To provide personalised feedback through a 365° report card and support students in setting meaningful development goals. Learning Outcomes By the end of the program, teachers will be able to: • Recognise strengths, interests, and areas for improvement through holistic and 360° assessment of students. • Help students to set personal and learning goals and take ownership of their progress through a Personal Development Plan (PDP). Expected Impact The initiative will help shift assessment from being marks-focused to growth-focused, enabling teachers to understand the learning journey of students , recognise their strengths, address areas for improvement, and help the students to become active participants in their own development.
